The African Australian Family and Youth Foundations was established in 2019 to:
Help young African Australians become responsible citizens and take advantage of the best opportunities Australia has for them.
Engage and empower youth by improving their participation in the wider Australian society through education, sports and work. This will help build an integrated society and ensure young people have access to relevant skills needed for work.
Deliver services aimed at promoting Collaboration, Integration to develop young people capable of working within the wider community.
Help bridge the gap and relief to already burdened service providers and organisations that deal with young people of African background.
Engage with communities to educate and build awareness about youth mental health issues and suicide prevention.
Mentor youth to develop positive relationships with a mentor.
